With over 18 years of experience at SHIPO, Imani’s journey began in 2006 when he joined as a Finance and Administrative Assistant. His dedication and skill quickly propelled him through key roles, including Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, before he assumed the role of General Manager in 2021. Imani’s deep-rooted commitment to community development has made him a cornerstone of SHIPO’s efforts to create sustainable, impactful change.
Imani’s academic background provides a strong foundation for his leadership at SHIPO. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of social development from Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy, graduating in 2018. Furthering his expertise, Imani pursued a Master’s in Monitoring and Evaluation at The Open University of Tanzania from 2018 to 2019, equipping him with advanced skills to assess and improve program outcomes. This blend of practical experience and academic rigor enables Imani to lead SHIPO with a strategic, data-driven approach, ensuring that every initiative aligns with the organization’s goals and delivers measurable results.
