16.09.2023 World Cleanup Day
The event was initiated by SHIPO, and jointly facilitated by climate action Njombe stakeholders, and Njombe town council (NTC). Cleanup activities were carried out at National Housing Street, specifically at one of the illegal dumping places located near the stream. About 300 people participated in the event and successful collected about 3000Kgs of wastes.
